Menu Plan Monday for January 5
Breakfasts: Bacon Egg & Cheese Biscuits, cereal, banana nut muffins
Lunches: soup, sandwiches (not sure what kind, I still have to go to the store tomorrow)
Dinners:
Monday - Roast beef (left from last week) w/ mashed potatoes, black eyed peas & biscuits
Tuesday - One Dish Chicken & Rice Bake
Wednesday- Tacos (didn't make last week)
Thursday - Red Beans & Rice, corn, and cornbread
Friday - Leftovers
Saturday - Brunswick Stew
Sunday - Mexican Chicken Casserole

I started doing a meal plan last year too and not only does it save money, I think it makes life easy all the way around. I like your idea of trying at least one new recipe a month!

Barbara, yes, it does same money, especially when we make dishes that last more than one night and have leftover buffet nights. I thought of the idea to make a new recipe each month because I get tired of making the same things all the time, and I think if I make a resolution broadcast it on the blog, I'll be more likely to broaden my horizons with new stuff.
