Save Money with Tracfone

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of TracFone. All opinions are 100% mine.
Today just about everyone has a cell phone.  Even my dad who swore he would never have a cell phone finally broke down and bought one.  It's pretty much become a necessity for most people.  And Tracfone gives people the freedom and security that a wireless phone offers without the high monthly bills and no monthly contracts.

Tracfone offers the least expensive way to own a cell phone in America with no activation fees, no cancelation fees, no credit checks, and no surprises.

And they've got great service plans to fit your family's unique needs, whether you're looking for an affordable way to get cell phones for the kids, or if you're someone who rarely uses your phone and wants a plan with a minimal amount of minutes for less money.

See which of these plans fits your needs:
• Pay as you go online or with cards available at thousands of retail stores across the country.
• 1 year service cards give you so much more. Receive double minutes for the life of your TracFone, and 800 minutes, for only $119.00
• “Double minutes for the life of your phone” is a feature that can be purchased separately for only $19.99, but some phones include it!
• Choose monthly plans with 200 minutes for under $30.00, and as low as $9.99 for 50 minutes.
And they also have a great selection of phones to fit your needs, from simple phones for simple needs, (calling and texting capabilities) for under $10.00 to phones packed with so many features like camera/video recorder, web access, app capabilities, mp3 player, and full QWERTY keyboard, for $29.99.  And these are from leading manufacturers such as Motorola, LG, Nokia, Samsung, and more!
International long distance calling is also convenient with Tracfone. This is the only wireless service where you can call internationally, for the same price as any other call.  You can call over 60 international destinations directly from your TracFone at no extra cost.  And with the International Neighbors program, you can provide family and friends in Mexico or Canada a local phone number in those countries to reach you at your TracFone in the U.S.

I found that Tracfone seems to offer the cheapest family plan - $27.96/month for our family of 4.
I get 50 minutes/month for $9.99 and the rest of the family get 40 minutes/month for $5.99. This is enough minutes for just checking up on the family during the day, calling them for supper when they're playing with the neighbors kids, etc.

I was looking through the TracFone site and I was thinking of getting one for myself. I saw that they have a few smartphone options but I'm not sure how this whole prepaid system works. Can someone explain it to me how this whole reception thing works for TracFone and Jean 5643 do you have one and do you like it?
