My Favorite See's Chocolates
The other day I mentioned Valentine's Day to my husband, and I told him that he could surprise me with one or two small gifts, and apart from that I just wanted to order a box of See's chocolate.
I had a chance to try an assortment of chocolates from See's a few years ago, and I absolutely fell in love with their candy! If you read my blog regularly, you know that I love all things sweets, especially chocolate, but I have to say that as far as chocolates go, See's is a in a class my itself.
In the past when I received a box of chocolates as a gift, I usually ended up throwing half the box away, but when I tried See's we ate the entire box. (And I have to admit that I'm using the word "we" very loosely, because I think my husband only had a chance to eat two or three pieces.)
And what I love about See's, apart from the taste of their candies, is that you can order a custom mix! Simply choose the size box you want. (The smallest is one pound, and you can get as much as five pounds.) And then you can choose up to 10 different chocolates to make up your box. And not only do you get to choose which chocolates you want, but you can also decide how much you want of each kind.
As far me, I absolutely love milk chocolate and caramel, so when I order my custom mix it will include See's Milk Chocolate Butter, Milk Butterchew, and their Milk Pattie (all of which feature caramel).
And then I'm also considering adding their Milk Peanut and Milk Bordeaux, as I recall both of those being quite tasty. And since my husband likes coconut, I'd also have to add a few Milk Cocoanuts to the mix. (I know he'd be happy with that!)
So if you're shopping for a chocolate lover this Valentine's Day, or you're thinking of just sending a box of chocolates to yourself, check out See's!
