Sponsor Spotlight - Julian & Co

I'm happy once again to announce Julian & Co as a sponsor on my blog.  This is a wonderful shop with a very unique line of  heirloom quality jewelry for moms, dads, and children.

These lovely pieces can be personalized with your child's name, birthdate and time, weight, and length.  And you can even add birthstone charms!

The owner of this company is a mom named Tania, and the company is named for her son Julian who was born 11 weeks early and weighed only 3lbs 4oz.  When Tania's husband purchased a personalized baby bracelet for Julian, and it was too big for his tiny wrist, Tania set out to design her own sterling silver id bracelet for Julian.  This was the first of many pieces in the Julian & Co line!

The  Signature line of Julian & Co  is the baby hand and feet jewelry.  So overjoyed to have Julian home, Tania handcrafted sterling silver disc pendants adorned with Julian’s own hand and feet prints, as well as his name and birth date, for her and her husband to wear. As soon as her family and friends saw Tania's lovely creations, orders came rolling in, and the business grew from there.

Julian & Co. offers jewelry that you can have forever as a keepsake.  It is durable and heirloom quality, and most pieces have a high shine mirror finish and are thick enough to be personalized on both sides.

You can purchase these to commemorate the birth of your own child or grandchild, and they also make lovely gifts for birthdays, showers, baptisms, graduations, and more!

March's Jewelry Showcase

At the beginning of the year I had planned to do a jewelry showcase on the first Wednesday of each month, but I had to do a little rearranging for March because I wanted to share my St. Patty's wreath at the beginning of the month, and to be honest, I wanted to share new spring items this month, and I never got the chance to make them in February.  So here we are!

For this month's showcase, I'm sharing my 3 newest pieces.  These are actually a set, but I've listed them separately in my shop.  Each piece features glass cat's eye beads and pewter charms which are shaped like little branches with leaves and resemble bamboo.  And if you like earthy tones for spring, than you'll love these!

Also, I just added a new coupon code for my readers.  Just enter: LOVESPRING15 at checkout to get 15% off your purchases!

I'm going to start today with the last piece that I made in the set- the earrings.  I actually had no intention of making earrings to match the necklace, but after I had the necklace and bracelet done, I thought I might as well use some of the charms I had left over to make some earrings. And I'm glad I did, because I actually kind of like the earrings the best!

I just started making earrings in this style, and I really love them.  I usually wear smaller earrings myself, so these are little bigger than what I'm used too without being too big or heavy, if you know what I mean.  And they dangle about an inch and half from the ear.

Next we have the bracelet.  I just love making bracelets, and after making the necklace, I simply had to make the matching bracelet.  It's a little more simple than the necklace and earrings, but just as cute.  And it measures 7 inches in length, but I can add an extender chain to it for anyone that wants a bigger size, and I'll add it free of charge.

And finally we have the necklace.  I was so thrilled with how this turned out.  The necklace measures 20 inches around and will go up to 22 inches with the extender change, and then the cluster of beads and charms in 3 inches long.

My only regret is that the photos just don't do the piece justice.  I tried of variety of angles and positions, but I just wasn't 100% happy with anything.  But hopefully people will see the beauty.  What do you think?

Please visit Simply Sweet Creations to see more of my spring items.

February's Jewelry Showcase

I'm happy to report that every Valentine's Day item that I featured last month has been sold, except for the Colors of My Heart Necklace (which is now on sale).  For this month's jewelry showcase, I'm sharing some of  the Valentine's Day items that I have left and a couple of my Pink & Chic items.

If anyone would like to place an order for Valentine's Day, please note that it takes 3-4 days for items to arrive once they are shipped (not including any weather delays).  As such, if you want to order something for Valentine's Day, you need to place the order by next Tuesday, in order for me to ship it out Wednesday, Feb 9th, for Valentine's Day delivery.

Also, I've reduced the prices on my all my Valentine's Day Bracelets featured here, and I've also placed all my Petite Earrings,  jewelry sets, and some other items on sale. So please check out my shop for details.

Hope you enjoy this month's showcase!

Thanks for looking!  I'm linking up this week to these parties.

January's Jewelry Showcase

Photobucket

As one year ends and another begins, I always find myself coming up with new goals that I want to achieve and tasks that I want to take on in blogging and other areas in my life.  One thing that I want to do this year is come up with new ways to promote the jewelry that I make.

The etsy shop always takes a back seat to the work I do for Simply Sweet Home and other things that I have to take on in "real life," so for this year, I've decided that I'm going to regularly promote the shop on this blog with a monthly showcase.

This January I'm adding some items for winter and Valentine's Day.  I still have several to add, but here are a few things that I already have for sale.

Also, I'm still offering a 15% savings for my readers in honor of the New Year.  Just enter the coupon code "HAPPYNEWYEAR" at checkout.  This code will be up through Jan 21st, so please take advantage of it while you can!

I call this beauty Colors of My Heart.  It started out as a bracelet and I decided to make it into a necklace instead.  But I can easily make it back into a bracelet for anyone that prefers that.

This is my first time to make a necklace in this style, and I'm very proud of how it turned out.  Hopefully I can make a lot more necklaces this year!

I think this is the quintessential Valentine's bracelet.  It's called the Dangle My Heart Bracelet.  It offers a lot of elegance and is perfect for people that love silver jewelry.  And the 3 red charms offer just enough contrast and give it a fun Valentine's Day feel.

This is my Valentine Red Heart Bracelet.  This one is actually in the typical style which I would buy or make for myself.  I love bracelets that feature one solid color surrounded by silver and just a few charms so that it's kind of simple but very cute and perfect to wear with dress clothes.

This is one of my winter items.  This is my Black & Pewter Elegance Bracelet.  I actually made a bracelet like this for my mom.  It's right up her alley because she wears black and silver jewelry all the time, and she seemed to really like it.  There's also a matching pair of earrings in the shop.

If you have an etsy shop and you'd like to discuss exchanging buttons or working out some other type of cross-promotion, please contact me!

Simply Sweet Creations Jewelry Giveaway

Since opening my shop this year, I've done very little to promote it, but since the holidays are coming up I've decided to do some blog promotions.  And it just so happened that Staci over at Just Sew Sassy was looking for sponsors to celebrate her half year of blogging, so I'm happy to announce that I'm sponsoring my first jewelry giveaway over at her blog this week!

For the prize, I've giving away a pair of my Petite Earrings.  These are made with surgical steel earwire and findings, which makes them perfect for sensitive ears, and they feature Czech Glass beads with a lovely sparkle.  The winner will get to choose the color of the pair they recieve.  The colors I currently offer are as follows:
  • Black
  • Clear
  • Red
  • Green
  • Olive Green
  • Blue
  • Blue-Violet (Purple)
  • Cobalt Blue

If you'd like to enter the giveaway, please head on over to Staci's blog.  The giveaway will be open through next Thursday, Nov 4.  And if you are a twitter or facebook follower of mine, you can also get extra giveaway entries!

Thanks so much to Staci for having me over at her blog.  And as I said, I am actually considering doing a couple of promotions for the holiday season, so if you have a blog, and you'd like me to sponsor a giveaway, please send me a email.  My advertising budget is very small right now, so I have to be very selective of the promotions I do, but I'd be willing to give any and all blogs a look, at the very least.
